Call for applications - Luxembourg youth delegate for the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe in Strasbourg

Since October 2014, as part of its "Rejuvenate Politics" initiative, the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe in Strasbourg has been inviting young people, aged between 18 and 30, from different backgrounds - youth activists, youth workers, students - to participate in its sessions, to give their views during the debates and to have an exchange with Congress members on the issues on the agenda.

The Congress, an institution of the Council of Europe, responsible for strengthening local and regional democracy in its 46 member states, has a long-standing commitment to promoting the active participation of young people in civic life as a means of ensuring social cohesion and the anchoring of democratic principles in a society based on respect for human rights.

Young people wishing to apply to participate in the 44th and 45th sessions of the Congress can do so using the online application form at the following link:

It is important to underline that SYVICOL is not involved in the process of nominating youth delegates. Its role is strictly limited to the dissemination of the call for applications.

Closing date for applications: 6 January 2023.

Communication of results: beginning of February 2023.
